So I just cleaned my room, and I mean REALLY CLEANED as in went through every last piece of paper, every box, every small container for the first time in....well 28 years. I found old coloring books, my very first art book, all my awesome "I'm not paying attention in class so I may as well doodle here on this blue lined paper" drawings and much much more.

Not to mention I've joined up in a Doodle every day for a year project, which I've surprisingly kept up on thus far, I've just not been able to scan them.

But that's all about to change.

I've lived in this house for 5 years and still have a futon and an old middle school writing desk as my only furniture.

I went to this little place called IKEA *insert angelic chorus here* And I just about bought the damn place out. At least in my mind I did.

I have a brand new computer with a 32 inch LCD screen that is also my Television....it's BAD ASS. An old scanner which I shall hook to it and place it upon my brand new computer desk. I've yet to get a chair for it yet, so that will be fun...and sometime in the near future my dad and I are going to build like a super raised/bunk bed/loft bed in my room so my really hairy dog can't jump on my bed with muddy paws anymore and I can place a couch UNDER the bed with plenty of head room to watch TV and draw....whatever the case may be.

So, this will all take place within the next 30 days, and after that time you should expect to see the biggest art dump ever created by man, or woman in this case.

OH, and I'm painting my room. I've never had a painted room before. I mean, it's always been white or eggshell or off white but never something I was like OMG I WANT THAT COLOR ON MY WALL. The color I chose is dark and I have a small room so I may make it feel like my little turquoise cave...it could be great, it could be a flop. All in all, I'm effing excited.
