Description

Lace part was made from his mothers 1970 wedding gown. He is the son of a Duke, so the wedding dress was like WOW. He had already ripped it apart when he gave it to me, or else it would still be a 1970s FANTASTIC wedding gown. The front is actually the TRAIN of the gown.

So I re constructed, flipped sewed and altered the wedding dress, made the "Hips" out of two canvas totes that I got from Walmart and attached them to a belt via their Label holders, then I made the blue over dress from scratch. No pattern. I just draped it on him, cut, pinned, left room for boobies and then constructed the sleeves via a pattern drafting technique = mathematically.

Not exactly historically accurate, but It's a gay man's birthday wish to be Marie Antoinette, who am I to say no.

I wish I could sew :P Maybe some day!

Wow, he ripped apart his mothers wedding dress to make a costume? :/ That's a bit extreme!
